Kiteboarding: How to Handle Wind Gusts

Definition of a gust : A gust is a sudden burst of wind. Kiteboarding in gusty conditions can be challenging and deadly without taking the right cares. Gusts can be very powerful and violent at times if you are unready a gust can simply pull you over your board and send you flying thru the air. You get all types of different gusts and winds.

Gusty conditions can be due to a selection of different factors, but are most frequently due to wind coming over a hill or moving thru buildings.
